End Youth Homelessn-ess and Neverland have worked together to create (Not) Working from Home, an online campaign raising awareness and funds for vulnerable young people at risk of homelessness during the COVID19 pandemic.
The campaign takes the recently adopted WfH (Working from Home) email notification and flips it to '(Not) Working from Home' to raise awareness of the plight of homeless young people whilst the coronavirus sweeps the nation. EYH encourage people to share this message and donate, and the launch will be supported by Urban Outfitters who will be promoting this on their social channels, and to their team internally.
COVID19 presents a huge risk for the vulnerable young people that the organisation supports. Many of these young people are without incomes, family support networks, and good health to fight illness. Many also suffer with mental illnesses that make isolation incredibly dangerous.
“This campaign couldn’t be more important. For End Youth Homelessness charities, the current climate is a question of survival. We need to ensure services stay open and young people get the vital help they need. Neverland stepped up when we needed help. We love the creative and hope it inspires business and individuals to take action and be as generous as they can in these uncertain times." - Nick Connolly, Managing Director, End Youth Homelessness
End Youth Homelessness is the national voice for homeless young people, and for the youth homelessness sector. They provide a national platform to raise awareness, share experiences and generate voluntary income. Their member charities house and support over 30,000 young people facing homelessness.
